OMSAR has been receiving many workflow, document management and archiving system
implementation requests from government entities. In that regard, and in order to
unify all those attempts and to allow a solid foundation for an e-Government built
on a strong G-2-G interaction, OMSAR is launching an enterprise WFS/DMS and Archiving
System Global project.
The WFS/DMS and Archiving System Global Project will select an optimal product that
will cater for the government workflow, document management and archiving automation
needs in a systematic, standardized and cost effective approach. The Project aims
at putting a nationwide framework for all government related WFS/DMS/Archiving System
projects through contracting with a selected supplier.
The project will select an enterprise-class product to be implemented by the awarded
supplier at the government entities based on a proper assessment and definition
of the beneficiaries’ requirements and needs.
As such, the scope of this project covers the provision of the required product
licenses together with services and deliverables (by the awarded supplier), which
can be any or a combination of the following according to the project needs at each
of the corresponding beneficiaries: ems’ modules;
• Deployment/Installation;
• Implementation;
• Training (end-user, super-user, administrator, guidelines…);
• Data migration;
• Data entry;
• Technical Support; and
• Maintenance.
