Scope :  
The technical needs assessment was conducted and it covered the following activities:
  1. A detailed study and analysis of the current network infrastructure requirements.
  2. A needs assessment of the current hardware and software and future requirements including the ISIC project requirements;
  3. The preparation of a schedule of requirements, a scope of work, a cost estimate and a proposed implementation plan.
The Investment Development Authority of Lebanon, IDAL, is the Lebanese governmental Investment Promotion Agency responsible for attracting private capital investments to Lebanon and assisting investors in the development and implementation of their projects. Having just relocated to new premises and being in the process of introducing new information systems such as the one for ISIC, IDAL required technical assistance and funding from OSMAR for enhancing its network infrastructure and introducing required hardware and productivity software.
