Chidiac responds: distorting the truth and twisting the content must stop!

The Information Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform issued the following statement:
The Minister of State for Administrative Reform, Doctor May Chidiac, regrets the level of underestimation of some ministers in approaching her request, a mandate from the Council of Ministers to form short-term committees, and their distortion of the truth and the content.
To clarify, the Ministry of State for Administrative Reform is an office linked to the head of government as a ministry of state and not as an administrative structure, therefore, approval of the Council of Ministers on the formation of short-term committees must be taken for the proper functioning of the work of the ministry. The mandate is a routine activity carried by all the ministers of state for administrative reform, and has been received by several ministers of state, and there are proofs of that. As for other ministries that have an administrative structure set out in the decrees, ministers can resort to experts/advisers without returning to the Council of Ministers to take the delegation.
It is also important to emphasize that the cost of these committees is taken from the budget of the ministry, and does not add any additional cost to the Treasury. This is happening in all ministries without reference to the Council of Ministers since they have a clear legal structure.
In addition, the work of these committees is constrained to a limited period that may take five days to a week and its tasks are limited to providing legal or technical comments on projects and strategies of the ministry. Furthermore, this authorization may not be used if no service is required, hence, the numbers and costs cannot be determined in advance. Therefore, all that has been said about the new random employments is a political problem in order to interfere with the ministers of Lebanese forces and their transparency.
