The Minister of State for Administrative Reform, Doctor May Chidiac, welcomed in her office at the Ministry a delegation from the alliance of Lebanese Societies, which included Mr. Shawky Al-Asal, Dr. Mariam Al-Turk, Ms. Sirah Hablas, Mr. Marhab Hamieh, Ms. Shadia Al Hassan and Mr. Mohammed Fleti. The meeting discussed the local developments and the role of the civil society in accomplishing development. Moreover, the delegation informed Chidiac on the initiative which will soon be launched by the alliance and which focuses on the topic of solid waste treatment.
